This course — General Swedish for Professionals, Level A1/A2 — is a rigorously designed, five-month intensive programme developed specifically for career-driven international professionals who are planning to relocate to, or are actively seeking employment in, Sweden and the wider Scandinavian labour market. The programme blends communicative language teaching (CLT) with profession-specific vocabulary modules, ensuring that students gain both everyday language survival skills and the workplace-specific Swedish terminology relevant to their fields.
The curriculum is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) at the A1 to A2 band, meaning graduates will be able to: understand and use familiar everyday expressions, introduce themselves and exchange personal and professional information, interact at a basic level with native speakers who speak clearly, and handle straightforward workplace communication scenarios.The course runs from Wednesday 23, April 2026 to Thursday, 28 August 2026 — 20 structured weeks of instruction, concluding with a comprehensive Major Examination on Thursday, 27 August 2026 and a graduation ceremony on 28 August 2026. Students who complete this course will be strategically positioned to pursue visa-sponsored employment in Scandinavia from September 2026 onwards, with their language portfolio serving as a competitive differentiator in the job market.
