The Swedish for Medical Professionals Program (Cohort 1) is a comprehensive language training pathway designed specifically for healthcare practitioners who plan to work, study, or collaborate within the Swedish healthcare system. Delivered through live online classes via Microsoft Teams, the program is taught by an experienced tutor based in Sweden, ensuring participants receive authentic language exposure and real insights into professional communication in Swedish healthcare settings.

This structured program guides learners from beginner (A1) to advanced professional proficiency (C1) while gradually introducing medical terminology, clinical communication, and healthcare system knowledge relevant to Sweden. Participants will develop the ability to communicate with patients, colleagues, and institutions confidently while understanding cultural expectations within Swedish clinical environments.

The program emphasizes interactive learning, practical application, and real-world communication. Through live lessons, guided discussions, listening exercises, and professional simulations, learners progressively build skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Swedish. By the advanced stages, students will be able to discuss medical cases, present professional opinions, and participate in complex healthcare discussions in Swedish.

The curriculum follows the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) progression and aligns with SWEDEX examination standards, with additional preparation for TISUS-level academic language competence for those pursuing higher education or professional licensing in Sweden.
